The Scriptures reveal a deeply personal God who longs for communication with his people. We see him speaking throughout biblical history, initially through the prophets, and later through his Son Jesus who comes to earth as God’s word “in the flesh” (John 1:14, Hebrews 1:1,2). While on earth, Jesus promised that after his death and resurrection, he would send his Spirit who would remind us of the foundational truths he had established (John 14:26) as well as speak of “things to come” (John 16:13). That promise was fulfilled on the day the church began as the Holy Spirit was poured out all people – young and old; male and female. Now like the prophets of old, everyone could hear from God (Acts 2:17).
Jesus said that we would be able to recognise his voice (John 10:27) and it is within the accountability and safety of the church community that we learn to do so (Acts 15:28, 1 Cor. 14:29). It is the mission of God Conversations to equip everyone who longs to know God personally to recognise his voice, and that in doing so, they may find the courage to follow.
“My people recognise my voice, I know them and they follow me” (Jesus, from John 10:27).
Pastor Tania Harris, founder and director of God Conversations, speaks at churches, conferences and youth events adapting the ministry to a variety of formats. Two tailor-made seminars are available as half-day or evening events: God Conversations (how to hear from God) and Awaken Your Dreams (how to hear from God though dreams and visions). Read more.
A foundational component of the ministry is to facilitate hearing God experiences within the accountability and safety of the local church. Using the findings of her doctoral studies and extensive experience ministering in this area, Tania works with leadership teams to build a culture where all members are experiencing God’s voice in a way that is both theologically orthodox and pastorally safe (Read More).

While the teaching on hearing God’s voice is central to the discipleship of both genders, this area focusses on the ministry needs of women in particular. Tania draws on her unique leadership journey to speak to women, inspiring and encouraging them to be fully released into their gifts and callings (Read more).
While God’s heart was for both men and women to represent his heart and steward the earth together (Genesis 1:27,28), human rebellion has led to power struggles and gender inequalities throughout history. Tania speaks to men about how they can help raise up women and work with them to build the kingdom in unity and grace (Read more).
With singles now forming half our church populations, there is a growing call to minister to the specific needs encountered in this season of life. Tania speaks about how to flourish in every season of life and how to fulfil God’s call regardless of marital status (Read more).
